In 1 Samuel 3, the Lord calls Samuel to serve Him. He does it by waking him up 3 times and Samuel questioning Eli what this was all about. Eli finally realizes that the Lord is speaking to Samuel and encourages Samuel to listen. Eli tells Samuel to tell him what the Lord said, regardless of whether it is good or bad news. It ends up being bad news for Eli, but Samuel tells him any way. Lord, help me present Your Word faithfully regardless whether the news is good or bad to those who hear.
