Abide Together: Reflections on Psalm 103
In Psalm 103 David begins and ends with “Bless the LORD, O my soul.” In between he recounts many of the things for which he has to Bless the LORD. He mentions forgiveness, mercy, compassion, good things, righteous deeds, slow to anger, grace, His sovereignty and more. David sets a great example for all those who know the Lord by purposely recounting many things for which to Bless the Lord. LORD, help me purposely and often recount many of the things for which I have to Bless You and remind me to encourage others to do the same.
