In 1 Chronicles 17 David desired to build a house for the Lord. The Lord instead says David will not build Him a house, but the Lord will set up one of his descendants after him and the Lord will establish his kingdom and throne forever. This covenant from God to David was initially fulfilled in Solomon. However, the ultimate fulfillment came in Jesus who reigns forever. His Kingdom is entered by grace through faith and all who enter His Kingdom will be there forever. Lord, thank You for bringing me into Your forever Kingdom. May I point others to Your Kingdom daily.
