Abide Together: Reflections on 1 Samuel 20

In 1 Samuel 20 Jonathan and David make a covenant together.  Jonathan promises to let David know if his father, Saul, desires to put him to death.  David promises to take care of Jonathan’s family after he is gone.  They both prove faithful to their promises.  They do so, because of their faith in the one true Faithful God, the Lord God Almighty.  Lord, based on the fact that You are faithful and live in me, may I be faithful in all I say and do.
