In Amos chapter 4 I am reminded of my desperate need for Christ. God has tried to show the Israelites there need to turn to God. Even in spite of the Lord giving them signs and warnings. How guilty are we of being so sure of our selves that we are blinded by our desperate need for Jesus Christ in our everyday life. We need to continually be reminded of our need for God in our lives. We can look back to the Old testament and see how time and time again even God’s chosen people forgot that and chose their own way instead of trusting in the Lord. We should desire to be desperate for Christ every single day.
