In Acts 28, Luke continues the account of Paul on the Island of Malta.  The Lord uses him to perform some miracles among the people.  When they set sail for Rome they were supplied by the people of Malta. Paul eventually got to Rome.  Then Paul, under house arrested, called many of the leading Jews in Rome to come to him.  He met with them a few times and he was “explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.” Some believed and some did not.  Paul continued for two full years under house arrest, “preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.” Paul kept his focus on proclaiming the Gospel regardless of his circumstances, good or bad.  Lord, help me stay focused on the proclamation of the Gospel regardless of the circumstances.
