In Genesis 46 we get the opportunity to see Jacob come to find his son. The lord tells him to go and so he begins this journey to Egypt to his son. Jacob begins the journey and Joseph actually meets him outside the city and it a reunion that can stir the hearts of anyone because we get to see the relationship of a father a son restored. Joseph had been sent away to what should have probably been his death. He had worked with integrity and was still punished at times, but even after all of that that he had faced. He rejoiced in the Lord. He continued to love his brothers with an unconditional love. This is a great display of the gospel and what was to come one day in the coming of Christ.
