In Romans 8, Paul reminds believers that because of what Christ has done for them and in them – they are not under condemnation and never will be. The Spirit now lives in those who have faith in Christ and even intercedes for them when they do not know what to pray.  Paul also reminds believers that since they are justified, it is a guarantee that God will glorify them as well.  Then Paul asks the question, “Who will separate us from the love of Christ?” He lists all kinds of things that people think might separate them from the love of God and then confidently asserts that nothing “will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” I need to spend more time focusing on the fact that nothing can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Lord, help me take the time to marvel at Your overwhelming, unending amazing love for me.
