In Acts 13 Luke records the beginning of Paul’s 1st Missionary Journey.  Paul and Barnabas are set apart God to take the Gospel to many places to the west. They faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet with opposition all along the way.  They also see many people repent and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior.  The majority of Jews refused to accept Jesus as there Messiah and Savor, therefore Paul and Barnabas obeyed the Lord and took the Gospel to the Gentiles.  Luke records in verse 48, “When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord.”  I too glorify and thank You Lord for send the Gospel to Gentiles, since I am a Gentile.  Thank You for Your amazing Grace, for you did not have not extend Your salvation to me – but you did.
