In Exodus 6 the Lord responds to Moses’ complaint about not delivering the people from the bondage of Pharaoh and the Egyptians. The Lord promises to deliver the people by His outstretched arm and with great judgments.  Moses once again uses his “unskilled” speech excuse. There is also a review of the heads of Israel and their descendants.  The Lord will not take “no” for an answer from Moses. The fact that Moses is reluctant and believes he does not have what it takes to lead the people, leaves no room for him to boast when the Lord delivers the people from Egypt.  Only the Lord will get the glory for delivering the people.  The Lord alone deserves the glory in all things.  Lord, help me only rely on You and to make sure that You alone receive all the glory.
