In Job 39 God continues his questioning of Job.  He asks Job questions regarding His creation that he could never answer.  By doing this, God is showing Job just how great HE is and how small Job is in comparison.  God’s knowledge and power are infinite and Job’s knowledge and power are finite.  Job and his friends’ statements presumed that they knew the mysteries of God and all HE was doing in the life of Job.  This is presumptuous and arrogant, leading to a trust in self instead of God.  LORD, continually remind me that You are creator and I am created and trusting in You alone will bring You glory.
