In Genesis 5 the Lord through Moses records the genealogy coming from Adam through Seth.  He mentions many different names, yet they all end with the same phrase, “and he died (accept the record of Enoch, whom the Lord took before he died).”  The fact that death was now the normal result to the lives of mankind, points to the need for a Savior who alone can conquer sin and its penalty – death. The passage ends with the introduction to Noah which will end in the just judgment of God.  This all points to the need of a Savior.  Thank You Lord, for sending Jesus to be the Savior of people from all over the world, including me.
